The remarkable Walls of China, a crescent-shaped dune eroding over time, is a striking feature of the park. Wind and water have carved spectacular fragile formations of sand and clay. Erosion has uncovered extensive evidence of the Aboriginal occupation of this area. There is a National Parks & Wildlife Service visitor centre at the entrance to the park which is open every day.
