As the first titanium-clad structure in the United States, this Library stands out as a gleaming example of the City’s futuristic vision. The color of the thin titanium skin that covers the building changes subtly depending on the angle of the sun and atmospheric conditions. Entering the building, you will immediately see one of the library’s most striking features: a spectacular 10-foot by 21-foot 15,000-gallon saltwater aquarium. The aquarium frames the entryway to the Children’s Library on one side while giant books decorate the other side.
