There are numerous interesting historical features there perfect for period filming and photo shoots.The hammer-beam roof of the magnificent Great Hall dates from around 1500 and is Grade 1 listed. There is also the octagonal brick dovecote nearby which was built around 1715, and is a Scheduled Ancient Monument. If you're looking for something less grand, more gritty there is a labyrinth of subterranean cellars and passageways.
