The 13-lane Bay Bridge, the furthest inland crossing. It is the only bridge tall enough to accommodate all boat traffic without need of a drawbridge. It features a ‘pier’ design that incorporates arches decorated with mural art to provide a regional accent to the bridge architecture. At night it is lit in eye-catching shades of purple. The bridge also includes a 3m-wide pedestrian walkway.
